Charles Corp studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he won the Gold Medal in 1969. The following year he won the 2nd tenor prize (no 1st prize being awarded) at the s'Hertogenbsch International Singing Competition. As a concert, oratorio and recital singer he has sung throughout the UK and abroad. Conductors with whom he has sung include Sir Andrew Davis and Sir John Eliot Gardiner. He has sung with most of the leading orchestras. Teaching has always appealed to him and he has taught in London and Surrey Universities, West Dean College and privately.
