Gregory Rose conducts orchestras, ensembles and choirs throughout Eastern and Western Europe and the Far East. He is Music Director of the Jupiter Orchestra and Singers, the amplified vocal ensemble Singcircle, and CoMA London Ensemble. He has conducted operas by Bizet, Poulenc, Scott Joplin, Virgil Thomson, Berthold Goldschmidt, Samuel Barber, Nino Rota, Toshio Hosokawa, Gian-Carlo Menotti and Malcolm Williamson.
He is much in demand for his expertise in the contemporary field, and is a Professor of Conducting at Trinity College of Music. He has arranged and conducted for Linda Ronstadt, Madness, and Diana Ross; and his CDs include a Hummel recording for Naxos . His recent composition Missa Sancta Pauli Apostoli won the Liturgical category of the 2006 British Composer Awards.
