John Evans

John Evans began his musical training under the watchful eye of his father, the bass-baritone Ivor Evans. He later studied with Rudolf Piernay at the GSMD. Oratorio performances have included Elijah, Christmas Oratorio, Carmina Burana, Messiah, Monteverdi Vespers & Brahms Requiem.

On stage he has performed Tarquinius Rape of Lucretia, Escamillo Carmen, Lothario Mignon, Onegin, Count, Billy Budd, Sid, Guglielmo, Ramiro L’Heure Espagnole & Dandini Cenerentola with Garden Opera. He now teaches at GSMD.
