Incorporating Summer Music

"Hitting all the right notes"

"There is not any music of instruments whatsoever comparable to that which is made of the voices of men".

"Since singing is so good a thing I wish all men would learn to sing"

William Byrd 1588

Scott Johnson

Scott Johnson studied singing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he is now employed as a singing teacher and vocal coach. He worked for several years as a classroom music teacher in secondary education and continues to maintain a commitment to work across a range of educational phases. He is Head of Vocal for the Centre for Young Musicians in Hackney and is involved in the ongoing String Project at Sir John Cass Primary School in Tower Hamlets.

He has recently completed a small scale research project designed to test the possible application of the JOHARI window as a tool for enhancing reflective practice in conservatoire training. In his spare time he plays keyboards for a Jazz combo known as the Verityberries.
